Remember last year when Mephisto took over our podcasts……well guess what….He is back!!

Throne

And this time, Slim Hadey is not messing around! This time he wants to attack us in our dreams. So, he threw us into the Sandman books, and he sent us Sean from the Secret Wars and Beyond podcast to “suffer”.  He also cursed us with bad audio problems. What a jerk.

Shadow

No really…that was his master plan. Corrupt us through quality. I really do not think he is playing with a full deck. It is like he is just howling at the moon or something.

Moon

Anywho…we are going to talk about cats…..

Blue

A lot of cats….

Bones

A cemetery full of cats…

Cemetary

And that is about all you need to know about this show….that, and Happy Halloween!

  1. One of my favorite Podcasts covers my favorite series-
This is where my love for Neil’s work starts- this is where I met the Endless as they interact with obscure DC characters and Shakespeare two things I already loved- I think of this as my friend Z’s story – he was the cat guy.
While the lack of Destruction keeps this from being my favorite Sandman book- this is still the first-

    1. Thanks for listening, and thanks for liking what we do. We try to have fun with it and it turns out that that is quite a bit of work so that fact that we are one of your favorites means quite a little bit to us.

I have been hearing good things about this series for years (I should really say decades at this point) so I should give it a proper whirl sometime.

  2. A great discussion of a great issue. I’m glad I had a small part to play in getting you guys plus Sean to podcast together. Simply excellent.

And Rick, the “cold open” was awesome! You do great work, my friend!

  3. Just finished Going Home podcast. I have to listen to them all in order, never read the comic, but I do enjoy your readings of it.

Also, I found myself running errands yesterday talking to myself in a Snark voice…”Why is my car so messy? This is not acceptable!”

    1. Yup, that Snark voice will get you. Not so much now, but there was a good chunk of time where I did the same thing. Snark voice, Snark voice, Snark voice. It is fun to do…hmmm, I should start doing that again. I could use a laugh. 🙂
