Jeff and Rick are joined by one of the rowdy boys of the Secret Wars and Beyond podcast. Sean joins the dysfunctional duo to down some drinks and discuss some dugouts as Power Pack goes to Shea Stadium. They are out at the ballpark to take in a professional baseball game with their granpa….what trouble could they possibly get into…….I am being handed a note….this says that they could get into a lot of trouble.
But never fear…with three hosts and a ton of silliness…and a slightly longer episode….you get the enjoyment of a grand slam home run.

Carl Potts isn’t the only baseball fan. As a lifelong fan of the Cubs (or is that Clubs), I enjoyed this issue a lot. Power Pack definitely was a great series to have both superheroics and slice-of-life stories.
Jeff was in fine form with Jack’s voice. That bit with Batman Bates was hilarious. Well done.
Love that panel with the Marvel staffers. Thanks for asking Brent about that. Hope my memory is as good as his in a few years.
This was the rare issue that it seemed Jack might *not* grow up to be a supervillain. “I had to do it to save lives, but it was still cheating. I feel awful!” Nice character bit for the great Mass Master. And so was his trick to stop the baseball. Completely agree with how great that bit and the artwork are in that scene.
And that Sean guy did pretty well as guest host. Maybe he has a future in podcasting.

I think that Gramps has PTSD with his ability to watch over the safety of his Grandchildren.
