But, due to budget constraints, we can only show you Horse Thor for one page.  Thanks for playing, we hope you enjoy your prize!

The Mother of all Cameos

The good news is that we are drinking a pretty good beer, and we get to see Volstagg shot in the tuckus with some darts. TWICE!!!

My ButtocksWith Friends Like These

Also, watch the travelling hat of Katie, a gift being transported to Asgard by Hogan!

The HatHildy

Jeff also gets to mock Rick who has a head cold. Does this sound like a fun episode or what?

  1. Ah, mocking the health-impaired! That’s good listening, don’t ya know?

Random thoughts! Random thoughts, Gotta write dem thoughts that randommmmm.

Was Rick’s sinuses stopped up for the recording? I didn’t know the Bogey-Man could do that! Curse you and your overweight antics, Carmody! Oh, “Bogey”, not “booger”. Ummmm….

Was Julie’s attempt to run away how she landed that sweet gig in “Runaways?”

Definitely not enough Thorse in this issue. Oh wait, do you know who gives Beta Ray Bill the nickname “Thorse”? Spoilers…

I can’t decide what kind of voice I’d give Franklin. A challenge.

Thanks to you guys covering Thor last episode, I did re-read that issue, and got sucked into reading the next few Thors, including Hogun giving Hildy the hat. Awwwww! Seriously, I wish future Thor writers could have brought Hildy back, but she was Walt’s character completely, and it probably wouldn’t have worked. Ah well.

    (“Thors” not “Thorse”. Wait, what?)

Here I thought Volstagg only had eyes for turkey legs. NOPE! Hot dogs! Ooo, and don’t forget ice cream trucks. You know Volstagg would be two-fisting Klondike bars and red-white-blue Blow Popsicles!

Loved the final page of Julie and Dad. You guys have the same relationship I’ve worked for with my girls. “Just tell the truth and I won’t be mad.” Exactly.

Sure, this issue may not have been the best, but it was still fun and made for a great podcast. Thanks, guys!

    1. Ahhhh the joys of a cold. Being a lifetime allergy sufferer, I am so used to snorting my nose, that I cannot tell when I am doing it. It makes recording and editing a real joy.

We are working with a friend of mine who has a son the same age as my daughter to possibly provide a real voice for Franklin. We shall see.

How could you not be sucked into the awesomeness of Walt Simonson’s Thor. so iconic.

Thank you for commenting and providing feedback. I am sure Jeff will jump on to provide his own thoughts to you.

    2. Always a pleasure to see that you have commented Tim. I like the idea of Julie being in the Runaways as a technicality. I can see them sitting around and Molly asking Julie to “Tell us the story of that one time you almost ran away to Asgard.” Yup, Julie is a true hard case.

    1. You know what else is hard?…all the words! Words can be a blight on communication and language in general. We should just be able to figure out what we are trying to say by making successful Intuition rolls. Which, I will have to admit, would make for a terrible podcast.
Thanks for listening and commenting, we appreciate it.
