But while you are laughing, also take a moment to stop and respectfully wave goodbye to June Brigman. This is the final book of the main series that she illustrates. She was one of the co-creators, and deserves a lot of credit for really establishing their look.

  1. Ok, I’ll warn you right now. This feedback will be b-o-r-i-n-g boring, because you guys left nothing for me to add!

    Randomly, randomish, randomole, random thoughts.

You won’t believe this, but I lived in Joliet, Illinois for 6 years when I was a kid. And yes, I hate Illinois nazis. Blues Brothers was the best, and I also have no desire to watch anything besides the original.

Franklin? Fantastic! Alex? Absent. Julie? In charge! Katie? Come on, kid! Jack? Oh no, knocked out again. In fairness, so was Julie by an explosion. Friday needs to make the Pack some helmets.

Oh wait! I did have one thought. Isolating alien adversaries in the arctic. You know, “hibernation” is not the same as “suspended animation”. Snake-Eyes and Jakal will be slowly losing calories, and would waste away unless revived and given sustenance. So, when was this going to be addressed? Surely Friday wouldn’t keep that from the Powers, would she? Hmmmm?

June Brigman’s art. Oh, she was knocking it out of the park this issue! (Yes, baseball again.) So sorry to see her go. Thank you, June.

So, Mephisto versus Mom-phisto? Yeah, you made the right choice, Jeff. All the way.

See? BORING! I warned ya. But thanks for the shout outs and the great episode.

Happy Packy Holidays! See you in 2019!

    1. Well a boring post deserves a boring reply. 🙂 Just kidding, great to see that you enjoyed the episode.
You raise a good point about the shortcomings of hibernation. Let’s just say that with their alien biology that the hibernation process achieves a science science biology good explanation that deals with those issues.
I will miss June but am glad that the art got handed over to a talented individual that understands what a child looks like.
Have yourself a great holiday season and I hope that the New Year finds you and yours with health and prosperity. Be sure to join us in what we call 201-9 for the continuation of our exciting and action packed same thing that we have been doing and will keep doing. 🙂
      Have a good one Tim.

      1. Oh that’s right! I’d completely forgotten that (technobabble) would create a (technobabble) and allow (technobabble) indefinitely! So Jakal will be just fine. Yup. No problems there. Thanks for reminding me.

Have a happy new year, my friend!
